What if my Card is lost or stolen?

Call 1-888-464-0727 as soon as you realize it’s lost or stolen. We'll put an immediate restriction on the Card so it can’t be used, and we will send you a new Card. If you request it, we will also send you a new Card PIN. To report your Card lost or stolen from overseas, call 1-302-255-3473. If you think you’re a victim of Identity Theft, call us at 1-866-464-7761 and one of our Associates will assist you.

Keep in mind, if your 360 Checking MasterCard® is lost or stolen and someone uses it for an unauthorized shopping spree, you’ll be covered by our

  • $0 Liability Guarantee – You won't get stuck with the bill, but contact us right away at 1-800-464-1242 so we can freeze your card. We may require a signed Affidavit  and/or an Attempt to Resolve form.
  • Free Card Replacement.

What should I do if I think there’s fraudulent activity on my 360 Checking?

If you suspect fraudulent activity on your account, please call us at 1-888-464-0727 (1-302-255-3473 if overseas) to have a restriction put on your Card if that hasn’t been done already.

What if I need to report fraudulent activity or a lost or stolen Card when Capital One 360 is closed?

Follow these steps if you need to report fraudulent activity or a lost or stolen Card outside of our business hours (8 AM to 8 PM, 7 days a week):

  1. Call our Interactive Phone System at 1-888-464-7868
  2. Answer the security questions, which includes entering your Customer Number and PIN
  3. Press 5 to report fraudulent activity or a lost or stolen Card

What if I notice unauthorized charges or ATM transactions that have posted to my 360 Checking?

First, click on the transaction within your account on our website to make sure you have all the information we have related to the charge or ATM transaction. If your account is a joint account, ask your joint account holder if he/she made the transaction. If you still don’t recognize the charge, contact the merchant and ask them for details. If you still don’t think you authorized it, use our online dispute process.

To access the dispute form:

  1. Sign in to capitalone360.com with your Customer Number or Saver ID and PIN
  2. Click on your '360 Checking'
  3. Click on the transaction you feel you would like to dispute
  4. Click on the link at the bottom of the page to submit a request
  5. Once you've submitted your dispute request, click the link at the bottom of the dispute confirmation page  and fill out and fax in the dispute form along with any supporting evidence

You can expect an email from us within 48 business hours after submitting your dispute form.  To ensure we have your most up-to-date email address, click on the ‘My Info’ tab and verify your contact information.  To edit your email address, click ‘Change’ in the Email section.
