Yes. We will send you a notice about 35 days prior to maturity with information on renewal and the current renewal rate. You’ll need to set your maturity instructions to either transfer the maturity value to another account, or to renew the CD at the current rate. If instructions aren’t provided, the CD (including accrued interest) will automatically be renewed at the current rate.
To set up or change your CD maturity instructions, which must be done prior to the CD maturity date, follow these steps:
You‘ll have access to money transferred from your CD into your linked account within 2 business days.
Your CD (including accrued interest) will automatically renew at the current rate. However, as a courtesy, you have a grace period that starts the day after maturity and lasts for 10 calendar days. During this time you can add funds to your CD, change the term or redeem it without penalty. If you choose to make any changes to your CD during the grace period, please give us a call us at 1-888-464-0727 from 8 AM to 8 PM, 7 days a week and an Associate will be happy to assist you.
Of course. Instead of rolling over your CD, just select the option to close your CD at maturity by clicking on your CD, going to the 'Maturity Options' tab and clicking the 'Close' button under the 'Close Your CD' section.
If your CD is maturing or is within the 10 day grace period, you can add additional funds by calling us at 1-888-464-0727.
If your CD already rolled over and is no longer in its grace period, you can always open additional CDs at any time.
