Can I set up a recurring payment plan for my Auto Loan?
Yes, to save time and money you can set up a recurring payment plan, also known as DirectPay. You can have your payments regularly deducted from your external checking account or other Capital One 360 or Capital One Retail account. You never ever have to worry about making a late payment or a payment getting lost after you put it in the mailbox.
To set up your plan:
1. Sign in to capitalone360.com.
2. Click the 'Payments' tab.
3. Select the Recurring Payments Option
4. Set up your payment to pull for any of these options:
• Every other week
• Twice a month
You’ll also have the option to add additional principal to each payment. And, it’s easy to change or cancel if your needs change down the road.
How does the Mail a Check feature work?
It’s an online checkbook, so it works just like your paper checkbook, except here you’re writing a check with your computer, not your pen. No stamp. No envelope. No running to the post office. Just fill in the payment details and to whom the check should be sent. We’ll send the check via first-class U.S. Mail the next business day – at no cost to you. That means it’s more convenient for you and saves you money too.
NOTE: In order to send your payments as efficiently as possible, if the recipient of a payment you initiated using the Mail a Check feature can receive payments electronically, we will send it electronically.
