Account Notifications

What types of notifications can I get for my MONEY?

With MONEY, you can sign up for text alerts or set up email notifications. Either way, we’ll keep you up to date on your account activity. Since MONEY is really a self-service account, it just makes sense to give you control over what alerts you would like to receive.

What are text alerts?

Text alerts are a safe and convenient way for Capital One 360 to communicate with you about your MONEY or 360 Checking. We’ll shoot you a text message for any of the text alerts you select to your mobile phone.

What type of alerts can I receive?

You can also choose to receive any of the following alerts via email or text message:

  • Card Transaction Alert – Receive a text/email alert any time a card purchase or ATM withdrawal is made over the dollar amount you set (limit must be set greater than $1)
  • Time to Deposit More Money – Receive a text/email alert if your balance goes below the dollar amount you set
  • Deposit Received – Receive a text/email alert whenever a deposit posts to your account.

I’m not receiving email notifications. Why?

If you’re not receiving emails from us, here are a couple things you can do to troubleshoot:

  • Do we have your most updated email address? Follow these instructions to provide us with your most updated email address:
    1. Sign in to capitalone360.com
    2. Click on the ‘My Info’ tab at the top of the page
    3. Click on the ‘Change’ link in the ‘Email Address’ section
    4. Type in your current email address and click on ‘Save’
    5. You’ll receive a confirmation email from us  - be sure to click the link within it to verify your email address
  • Check your email address on file – it may contain a typo.
  • Many Internet Service Providers use SPAM filters that occasionally mistake Capital One 360 email notifications for SPAM. Check your junk mail folder if you don't see our message in your inbox and mark it as "not junk mail.”
  • If you use anti-SPAM software, add ‘saver@capitalone360.com’ to your address book or approved senders list to ensure delivery of Capital One 360 emails.
