Nope, Mobile Deposit is a completely FREE way for you to deposit checks into your Capital One 360 account(s), faster.
What should I do with my check after I deposit it?
Hang on to your check until you receive an email from us confirming that your check has been successfully deposited. After that, go ahead and void the check by writing "VOID" across it.
When will my check deposit be available?
Most deposits into 360 Savings, Money Market, Confidence Savings and Kids Savings Accounts are subject to a 4 business day hold before they can be withdrawn.
Checks drawn from another Capital One, N.A. account will be available the next business day.
Electronic deposits that are automatically initiated outside the bank - like Direct Deposit or Social Security benefits - are generally available immediately. Cash deposited via one of our deposit taking ATMs and transfers between Capital One 360 and Capital One Bank accounts are also available immediately.

Is there a cut off time in order to have funds available the next business day?
Checks deposited after 9 PM ET Monday through Friday, and anytime on Saturdays, Sundays or federal holidays will be processed the next business day and made available based on the info above.
I noticed my check was rejected, what happened?
There are a few reasons why your check may have been rejected. But don’t worry; we’ll let you know what the issue was in your check details and send you an email with the reason.

I deposited my check into the wrong account, what should I do?
Hang tight. Once your deposit becomes available, you can transfer the money into the account you want, and because it’s an internal transfer (this includes Capital One Bank accounts), the funds will be available immediately.
