Username (Saver ID)

What is a Username (Saver ID) and how do I set one up?

A Username (Saver ID) is a unique ID that you create to sign into the webiste and identifies you as a Capital One 360 Customer. You can only have one Username (Saver ID) and joint holders do not share the same Username (Saver ID).

To create your own easy-to-remember Username (if you don't already have one):

  1. Sign in to capitalone360.com.
  2. Click on the 'My Info' tab.
  3. Select the 'Change' button in the 'Username (Saver ID)' section.
  4. Enter a Username you can easily remember.

What if I forgot my Username (Saver ID)?

If you've forgotten your Username, use our 'Forgot your Username (Saver ID)/Customer Number?' tool on the sign in page of the website. Follow these easy steps:

  1. Click on the 'Forgot your Username (Saver ID)/Customer Number?' link on the sign in page.
  2. Confirm some personal information.
  3. Answer a few security questions.
  4. Enter your password.
  5. Jot down your Username and keep it in a safe place.

What's changing about the way I sign in to capitalone360.com

As part of the Capital One® family, we're making the switch from Customer Number and PIN to Username and Password.

What are the new Username requirements?

Your Username must meet the following requirements:

  • between 6 and 32 characters
  • any combination of letters and/or numbers
  • must include at least 1 letter

Why can't my Customer Number be my new Username?

We're still big fans of numbers, but your Username needs to have at least 1 letter in it.

What Capital One accounts does this Username/Password change apply to?

It applies to all your Capital One® accounts, including Capital One 360®, Capital One Credit Card and Capital One Bank® accounts. Once you make the switch, you can use the same Username and Password to sign in to all your accounts.

There are two exceptions – if you have a Business account with Capital One Credit Card and/or Capital One Bank, you'll need to keep separate sign in info for that account. Also, for now, your new Username and Password will also stay separate from your Capital One Investing® sign in info.

So where do I sign in to my Capital One 360 and Capital One accounts now?

You'll continue to access all your accounts the same way you always have. HOW you sign in's the only thing that's changing.
